This #throwbackthursday post is about that it collaboration between Swarovski & city designer Pranay Baidya for an exclusive preview of former’s exquisite range of Festive Wear 2016. A glamorous evening full of sparkle and entertainment hosted by the designer showcased his capsule festive wear collection over a grand cocktail party.
The collection CRYSTAL GALAXY by Swarovski was the talk of the party as every piece captured a kaleidoscope of elements into fashionable jewels. Composed of some statement baubles, the collection depicts constellation of stars to planets in orbit, from the colors of the cosmic night to shapes of sparkling icicles.
Witnessed & graced by who’s who of the city, the launch resulted in a perfect cocktail brimmed with sparkle. Actress Parno Mitra was an ideal muse for designer-artist whose festive/occasion wear featured printed lehengas inspired by byzantine tiles paired with silk bodices and folk art printed sarees with off shoulder blouses.
Ms. Mitra dazzled in a Persian embroidered lehenga paired with a silk bustier , rocking jewels from Swarovski’s ‘Crystal Galaxy’ to the T. You can shop these and more pieces from the collection at their stores across India.
